Lube Mobile Hygiene Practices When Servicing Customers Vehicles

There is evidence that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads from person to person, some reports suggest the virus can last for several days on surfaces including plastics found in vehicles.

Good hygiene can prevent infection from coronavirus as well as the common cold and flu.

With this in mind we wish to share with you what practices Lube Mobile have put in place to ensure the safety of our Customers and of our staff.

Prior to working inside a vehicle, the Lube Mobile technician will use the following procedure;

  1. The technician will check with you whether you have been overseas and ordered to comply with a self-isolation order.

  2. Disinfect car.

  3. Disinfect hands.

  4. Where possible avoid switching on HAVAC system (air conditioning / heater control).

Disinfect Car

  1. Disinfect outside door handle prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. Spray or wipe all relevant areas inside the vehicle.

  3. Allow disinfectant to sit for up to 10mins to dry by airing out the vehicle.

  4. Conduct works inside the vehicle.

  5. When the work is finished we will give the vehicle a final spray or wipe prior to returning the vehicle to you (including outside door handle).

Parts of the Vehicle to be Disinfected

  1. Door handle (outside first then inside).

  2. Steering wheel.

  3. Radio and other control buttons and indicators.

  4. Seat belt.

  5. Any other areas we may need to touch when working inside the vehicle (i.e. glove box handles, drink holders, dashboard, hand brake and gears etc.)

Disinfect Hands

  1. We will use hand sanitiser or washing of hands prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. After completing the work we will Sanitise our hands thoroughly and close the door to the vehicle.

Payment and Invoicing

  1. No Cash payments. Our strong preference is payment by card via the tap and go facility.

  2. Printing of invoices and quotes will cease and we will instead email them to you.

Should you have any queries regarding our Coronavirus (Covid-19) procedures, or any other matter please do not hesitate in contacting us on 13 30 32.

How to Choose the Right Batemans Bay Mechanic

When you can’t find the time to visit a Batemans Bay mechanic in your area, having your car fixed could feel as challenging as deciphering ancient hieroglyphics. That’s where Lube Mobile steps in. No need to adjust your hectic schedule; we’ll find the nearest Lube Mobile mechanic to you, whether you’re at home or stranded on the roadside.

Discover how Lube Mobile is revolutionising the mechanic experience for Aussies across the country, whether they need a Ford car service, a Croydon Toyota service, or emergency roadside assistance.

Signs you need a mechanic

You noticed something off about your car, and now you’re looking for a Batemans Bay mechanic. We all worry when our cars act up, especially with the high car service and repair costs these days. It’s better to catch problems early than pay a lot more later, right? But do you really need a mechanic, or are you just overthinking things?

Here’s a quick checklist to help you decide:

  • Odd noises: Hear grinding, squeaking, or rattling? It might be your brakes, exhaust, or something else.
  • Dashboard lights: If a warning light pops up, like the check engine light, don’t ignore it. It's a heads-up from your car that an engine repair service might be due
  • Unusual performance: Struggling to start, stalling, or just feeling off? Your engine might be sending you signals that it needs a check-up.
  • Leaks: Spotted oil, coolant, or other fluids under your car? That's a clear sign you need your car serviced right away.
  • Weird smells: Burning smells or strong gas odours? It's not normal and could be a serious problem.

The inconveniences of traditional mechanic services

potted a car warning sign? You’re probably typing in terms like ‘Batemans Bay mechanic’, ‘Camden tyre service’, or ‘Bunbury Toyota service’ on a search engine, hoping for a nearby fix. We get it; old-school mechanics have always been the go-to, so it’s almost second nature to seek them out when car trouble hits.

But let’s face it – with our busy lives, sometimes the hassles with these traditional services make us wish for a better way. In traditional mechanic services, there is often frustration for the following reasons:

  • Tight timing: Many traditional mechanics are open just nine to five. If you're working those hours too, coordinating a drop-off or pick-up feels like a juggling act. You might end up having to go on leave from work just to accommodate their schedule.
  • Endless waiting: Ever walked into a packed mechanic shop? It's no fun, especially when you know you're in for a long wait. That delay can disrupt plans and leave you without a car when you need it most.
  • Limited services: Some shops are great for the routine stuff – think oil changes or brake repair services. But if your car's problem goes beyond the basics, you could find yourself on another search just to get the service you need.

Isn’t it time we had a more hassle-free option? Let’s think beyond your local mechanic’s services and the traditional garage setting.

Mobile mechanics are a game-changer

Mobile mechanics are changing the game in auto repair; no more stressing over how to get your poorly performing vehicle to a traditional Batemans Bay mechanic. Now, skilled mechanics can come straight to your home, ready to fix everything from brakes to engines. Whatever car model you have or car problem you’re dealing with, the pros can handle it all.

What’s even better about a mobile mechanic service is the money and time you save. Without the costs of a physical shop, mobile mechanics usually offer more competitive prices. The on-site service Lube Mobile offers, for example, saves you time, taxi fares, and towing fees.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do you provide routine maintenance services like oil changes?

At Lube Mobile, we pride ourselves on being more than just your typical breakdown service.

Did you know that apart from handling emergencies, we’re adept at non-urgent repairs and car diagnostics too? Imagine enjoying your morning coffee in the comfort of your home while a certified mechanic gives your vehicle a professional oil change right in your driveway. No fuss, no long waits. With our reliable car inspection service, we combine convenience with top-notch auto maintenance.

Are there any additional fees for diagnostics or inspections?

The truth is that different auto shops charge differently for their services. Some Gladstone mechanics, for example, might include diagnostic fees in their service package, while other car service Bendigo mechanics or Batemans Bay mechanic services might bill you separately.

Lube Mobile customers get itemised quotes before we start any work, giving you complete control over your car maintenance expenses. What’s more, we keep our prices competitive and only charge for ordinary labour time, not travel time.

How long does a typical car repair or service take?

When looking up ‘Audi Indooroopilly service’ or ‘Batemans Bay mechanic’ to try and figure out how long a typical car service takes, it’s worth noting that car repair times can differ greatly. Some fixes are done in just a few hours, while more complicated ones might stretch over several days.

But here’s the good news: At Lube Mobile, thanks to our team of talented mechanics working six days a week, we can usually be in your preferred location within twenty-four hours of your booking. In this way, you will be able to get your car running smoothly again in no time!
