Lube Mobile Hygiene Practices When Servicing Customers Vehicles

There is evidence that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads from person to person, some reports suggest the virus can last for several days on surfaces including plastics found in vehicles.

Good hygiene can prevent infection from coronavirus as well as the common cold and flu.

With this in mind we wish to share with you what practices Lube Mobile have put in place to ensure the safety of our Customers and of our staff.

Prior to working inside a vehicle, the Lube Mobile technician will use the following procedure;

  1. The technician will check with you whether you have been overseas and ordered to comply with a self-isolation order.

  2. Disinfect car.

  3. Disinfect hands.

  4. Where possible avoid switching on HAVAC system (air conditioning / heater control).

  2. Spray or wipe all relevant areas inside the vehicle.

  3. Allow disinfectant to sit for up to 10mins to dry by airing out the vehicle.

  4. Conduct works inside the vehicle.

  5. When the work is finished we will give the vehicle a final spray or wipe prior to returning the vehicle to you (including outside door handle).

Parts of the Vehicle to be Disinfected

Why Lube Mobile Is Better Than Waiting On Bathurst Mechanics

Thinking of fixing your car on your own instead of calling in expert Bathurst mechanics? We understand it’s not always convenient to adjust your day around a visit to the garage, let alone handle the towing fees. But what if there was a better way than diving into a risky DIY repair?

Enter Lube Mobile, the mechanic that brings the repair shop to your doorstep. We have services across Australia, but if you can’t find your area on our website, give us a call, and we’ll locate the nearest Lube Mobile to your location. In this article, you’ll discover why car owners – whether they drive the latest model or a vintage – put their trust in us.

Considering a DIY car repair? Think twice

We get it; DIY projects can be fun and rewarding, especially when you’re looking to save a few bucks. But when it comes to vehicle maintenance and repairs, even the most experienced DIYer can slip up. Some usual mistakes include buying the wrong parts, not using the right tools, or even misdiagnosing the problem altogether. And remember, cars aren’t puzzles; if you force a piece where it doesn’t belong, you might end up with a bigger headache.

And that ‘simple’ fix you saw on a five-minute YouTube video? It might not be as straightforward as it looks. Cars today are complex machines with intricate parts and systems. What seems like a minor issue could be a symptom of a deeper problem. By diving in without a full understanding of the issue, you risk turning that small hiccup into a major catastrophe.

If you accidentally make the problem worse, you’ll not only need to buy additional parts but might also need to call in a professional to undo your work. In some cases, what could’ve been a minor fix could lead to higher VW service prices or Volkswagen service costs, for example. You might even waste more time looking up terms like ‘mechanical repairs near me’ or ‘auto services near me’.

So, while rolling up your sleeves and DIYing your car repair can be tempting, it’s crucial to know when to call in the best Bathurst mechanics, Gladstone mechanics, or whoever the trusted mechanics are in your area.

Why professional mechanics are worth it

After understanding the pitfalls of DIY car repairs in the previous section, let’s delve deeper into why turning to professional Bathurst mechanics is the smart choice.

  • Experience and expertise. Think of your car as a complex puzzle. Reliable Bathurst auto technicians and Bathurst car specialists, with their years of training and hands-on experience, are adept at solving this puzzle. Over time, they've seen a vast array of car issues, which equips them with expertise in car inspection and engine troubleshooting so they can fix problems efficiently.
  • Right tools for the job. Without the right tools, car repairs can fail big time. The best Bathurst mechanics invest in specialised equipment tailored for specific car repair and maintenance services. Most of these tools aren't readily available to the average DIYer, and purchasing them can be very expensive.
  • Safety first. Cars are intricate machines, and making a transmission repair, for example, without the proper knowledge can be downright dangerous. From the risk of burns and cuts to the potential of causing more damage to the car, DIY repairs come with their share of hazards. Professional mechanics undergo safety training and always prioritise your safety and that of your vehicle.
