Lube Mobile Hygiene Practices When Servicing Customers Vehicles

There is evidence that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads from person to person, some reports suggest the virus can last for several days on surfaces including plastics found in vehicles.

Good hygiene can prevent infection from coronavirus as well as the common cold and flu.

With this in mind we wish to share with you what practices Lube Mobile have put in place to ensure the safety of our Customers and of our staff.

Prior to working inside a vehicle, the Lube Mobile technician will use the following procedure;

  1. The technician will check with you whether you have been overseas and ordered to comply with a self-isolation order.

  2. Disinfect car.

  3. Disinfect hands.

  4. Where possible avoid switching on HAVAC system (air conditioning / heater control).

Disinfect Car

  1. Disinfect outside door handle prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. Spray or wipe all relevant areas inside the vehicle.

  3. Allow disinfectant to sit for up to 10mins to dry by airing out the vehicle.

  4. Conduct works inside the vehicle.

  5. When the work is finished we will give the vehicle a final spray or wipe prior to returning the vehicle to you (including outside door handle).

Parts of the Vehicle to be Disinfected

  1. Door handle (outside first then inside).

  2. Steering wheel.

  3. Radio and other control buttons and indicators.

  4. Seat belt.

  5. Any other areas we may need to touch when working inside the vehicle (i.e. glove box handles, drink holders, dashboard, hand brake and gears etc.)

Disinfect Hands

  1. We will use hand sanitiser or washing of hands prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. After completing the work we will Sanitise our hands thoroughly and close the door to the vehicle.

Bendigo Mechanics

Ever been caught off guard by a car breakdown, causing you to seek reliable Bendigo mechanics to come to your rescue? Imagine a service that not only provides rapid repairs but also brings the workshop to you. Explore Lube Mobile’s comprehensive services and discover the advantages of a mobile mechanic.

The need for a mechanic

Regular maintenance and upkeep

If you think about it, cars are a lot like the human body in that they have multiple systems, each with their own little parts, that all interact with one another. When one system fails, the others are affected, resulting in a less-than-ideal driving experience.

So just like you would only entrust a certified, skilled doctor to do surgical procedures on your body, you should only trust the best local mechanics to do work on your prized vehicle.

After all, regardless of the make or model of your car or the year it was built, every car will run into mechanical problems at some point. It’s at this point that you may search for the right Bendigo mechanics for affordable auto maintenance.

How budget concerns may hold you back

One thing that might be keeping you from getting in touch with Bendigo mechanics is your worry about the financial aspect of car repair and maintenance services.

You may have dealt with auto service Bendigo websites in the past that led you to be ushered out of the workshop while your car was being repaired. Plus, some mechanics may hit you with a major service cost only after those repairs have been completed – a nightmare that those looking for affordable car technicians Bendigo-based or otherwise don’t want to go through.

The advantages of mobile mechanics

The great thing about mobile mechanic services, whether they employ Bendigo mechanics or mechanics from other areas, is their ability to come directly to you. Now, it doesn’t matter if your car refuses to start in your garage or if your tyre gets punctured in your office’s parking lot. At Lube Mobile, you could even be out of town, and we’ll send our car expert over!

We have extensive experience doing repairs on all makes and models, so you no longer need to look up ‘4wd mechanics near me’ or ‘Volvo car service’. We have Brisbane mechanics, Bathurst mechanics, Launceston mechanics, and more – you name your location, and our skilled team will be there, ready to help.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What steps should I take in case of a breakdown on the road?

The first and most essential thing is to remain calm, so as not to cloud your judgement. You’ll want to switch your hazard lights on so that other drivers are alerted that there’s a problem. If your car allows it, try to move your vehicle to a shoulder or a parking lot. Depending on the type of road where you encountered a breakdown, it may either be safer to stay in the vehicle, or exit it.

If you have warning triangles, you can set them up to give other drivers time to evade your vehicle. Now that you’ve ensured your safety and that of your vehicle to the best of your ability, call a service like Lube Mobile. We are equipped and ready to perform most car repairs or car service on site.

Can I get a price estimate before the service?

Like we talked about earlier, not all Bendigo mechanics are keen on giving you a price estimate prior to service. Luckily, with Lube Mobile, you’re in control of what you spend. You can expect an itemised list of costs before any work commences, for your peace of mind.

How do I schedule an appointment with a mobile mechanic?

Mobile mechanics, whether they’re Bendigo mechanics or are located elsewhere, typically have a number you can call or a website you can book an appointment with.

Here at Lube Mobile, though, we stay ahead of the game by providing an online booking platform that shows our mechanics’ real-time, 24/7 availability. You can get the next available schedule, or simply select a day and time that suit you.
