Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can I bring in my older Toyota model for service?

If you have an older Toyota model that needs service, maintenance, or repairs, you should not have any problems as long as you find a reliable mechanic. That being said, here are some things to keep in mind when in need of Bunbury Toyota service.

You can contact your mechanic and check if they can service your particular model before scheduling an appointment. Older Toyota models may sometimes require special parts that are not kept in regular inventory at service centres or car service shops.

If you’re familiar enough with your vehicle to identify the Toyota genuine parts for servicing, enquire if the needed parts will be available for an upcoming service. Be sure to mention the year and model of your Toyota when looking for parts.

If you prefer a convenient experience for your Toyota check-up, you can book Lube Mobile services online, and we’ll have our mechanics drive out to your location for on-site car service or repairs. You won’t have to look for the nearest Toyota service centre or drive out to a workshop. At Lube Mobile, we come to you.

As Toyota specialists, we pride ourselves on providing more than just service; we offer peace of mind. Our Toyota car service cost is competitive, and our logbook servicing ensures you stay within warranty guidelines. And if you’re driving the future, we’re well-versed in hybrid car maintenance too. No matter where you are in Bunbury, we are your go-to for all your Toyota check-up and maintenance needs.

If you have further questions about our services, you can contact us via email, phone call, or chat service.

What does a multi-point inspection cover?

A multi-point inspection is a comprehensive check of various aspects of your vehicle to assess its condition and identify any potential issues that may require attention. It’s usually performed as part of routine maintenance, a pre-purchase examination, or to give you an idea of your vehicle’s general condition.

A typical multi-point inspection may include the following items, although specifics vary between service providers or centres:

  • Exterior and vehicle body inspection. These include tyres, lights, windscreen wipers, and windows. Common factors inspected include tyre pressure, tread depth, functioning lights, or cracks in your windscreen or windows.
  • Under-the-bonnet inspection. These may include engine oil levels, brake or coolant fluids, wear and tear on belts or hoses, and battery voltage.

  • Interior inspections. These typically include HVAC or air filtering, seatbelts, electronics, and electrical systems. These may be inspected alongside engine-related components, especially with newer car models that rely on electronics for car safety features.

Other points, such as suspension, steering, transmission, and track alignment, may also be part of a multi-point inspection. Once the inspection is complete, the technician will usually provide you with a report detailing their findings. This can include recommendations for other services, like brake repair and replacement services, as well as suggestions for future maintenance.

Feel free to ask your Lube Mobile mechanic any questions regarding your vehicle’s multi-point inspection. Lube Mobile will also provide you with an itemised quote before proceeding with any repairs on your vehicle so you can discuss your options further.

Whether you’re looking for Bunbury Toyota service mechanics or you’re somewhere else in Australia, you can trust the quality and care that we provide.

How do I ensure my Toyota’s long-term performance?

Toyota cars have a good reputation for reliability and longevity, but they are not exempt from wear and tear. Ensuring the long-term performance of your Toyota – or any vehicle, for that matter – requires consistent maintenance, regular inspections, and prompt attention to any issues that may arise.

Here are some steps you can take to help ensure your Toyota’s long-term performance:

  • Keep a routine maintenance schedule. You can consult your vehicle’s manual for recommended maintenance intervals, including oil changes, air filters, and more. Conversely, a Lube Mobile mechanic can advise you on the ideal maintenance schedule following a multi-point inspection of your vehicle.
  • Address issues promptly. If you notice any issues like strange noises, reduced performance, or warning lights on your dashboard, it’s best to get these checked out at the earliest possible instance. Lube Mobile mechanics can be at your address for car or tyre services, typically within twenty-four hours of your online booking.
  • Keep records of vehicle maintenance and repairs. Document repairs and keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work. Not only will this greatly help your mechanic in diagnosing any future issues, but it can also help with resale value should you decide to change vehicles later down the line.

By being proactive about maintenance and addressing issues as soon as they arise, you can help ensure that your Toyota runs smoothly for many years to come. Book a Bunbury Toyota service appointment with Lube Mobile today!
