Lube Mobile Hygiene Practices When Servicing Customers Vehicles

There is evidence that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads from person to person, some reports suggest the virus can last for several days on surfaces including plastics found in vehicles.

Good hygiene can prevent infection from coronavirus as well as the common cold and flu.

With this in mind we wish to share with you what practices Lube Mobile have put in place to ensure the safety of our Customers and of our staff.

Prior to working inside a vehicle, the Lube Mobile technician will use the following procedure;

  1. The technician will check with you whether you have been overseas and ordered to comply with a self-isolation order.

  2. Disinfect car.

  3. Disinfect hands.

  4. Where possible avoid switching on HAVAC system (air conditioning / heater control).

Disinfect Car

  2. Spray or wipe all relevant areas inside the vehicle.

  3. Allow disinfectant to sit for up to 10mins to dry by airing out the vehicle.

  5. When the work is finished we will give the vehicle a final spray or wipe prior to returning the vehicle to you (including outside door handle).

Car Service Launceston

The thing about being a car owner is that you never know when you’ll need the services of an expert mechanic. That’s why it’s important to find the best car service Launceston and beyond can offer. In some cases, you may not have the time or ability to bring your vehicle in, whether you need engine diagnostics service, car suspension maintenance, or an even more complex repair.

Here’s where Lube Mobile’s mobile mechanic service can really make a difference for your car repair and maintenance needs. Discover why car maintenance isn’t negotiable and why you can trust us to take care of your precious vehicle.

The importance of mechanics

Troubleshooting common car problems

If you’re looking for a car service Launceston residents and similar communities can count on, chances are you’ve encountered a problem while driving. It can happen at any time and could have a major impact on the course of your day, week, or even month.

Your dream vacation may be ruined, your children may be late to school, or you may miss a day of work due to car trouble. To save yourself trouble, getting frequent car repair and maintenance services is crucial.

Maintaining your vehicle properly will not only ensure its safety and dependability but also increase its fuel efficiency and help maintain its value. Performing simple and expensive maintenance could save you thousands of dollars in gasoline and keep you from incurring even higher bills down the line.

When a mechanic can step in

In spite of the fact that individuals are capable of performing some basic maintenance and repairs on their cars, there are a number of reasons you might need a mechanic.

Mechanics undergo extensive training to understand the intricacies of various vehicle systems. As a result, they can diagnose problems more accurately and efficiently than the average car owner. Plus, knowing that certified car mechanics have worked on your car and stand by their work can give you peace of mind when you’re on the road.

Difficulties with traditional mechanics

It can be a challenge to find a trustworthy car service Launceston-wide and beyond. While there are some reliable mechanics out there, there are some who might claim they are the best Launceston car mechanic but simply aren’t qualified to handle your vehicle’s specific issues.

Another major challenge is the budget. When looking up ‘car inspection Launceston’, be careful not to enlist mechanics who may shock you with a major service cost only after repairs have been completed. If your car has broken down and you’re looking up ‘24/7 emergency car towing’, then you may need to spend additional fees on towing to get to a Launceston car diagnostic centre.

It’s impossible to predict when or where our car will break down, and often the most difficult part of getting a car service Launceston-based or otherwise is closing the distance between your car and a qualified, experienced mechanic.

The Lube Mobile difference

Anywhere in the country

Whether you’re at home, in the office, or even out of town, Lube Mobile offers car service Launceston residents and Australians all over can count on. Because we operate six days a week, we can minimise downtime and give great results for frustrated car owners looking up ‘mechanic shops near me’ or ‘mechanical repairs near me’.

Every mechanic at Lube Mobile is an employee, not a contractor, and all of our mechanics receive continuous internal and external training to ensure quality service. We only hire mechanics who have worked in the trade for at least four years.

All the services you could need

Consider us your one-stop automotive solution when you need Launceston car service and maintenance, reliable car inspection, or even a complex engine repair. Trust us to ensure your vehicle gets the care it needs, whether it’s a timing belt replacement, a radiator leak, or an engine overhaul.

We’re also capable of working on vehicles of all makes and models, so there’s no need to keep looking up ‘Hyundai service cost’ or ‘service Suzuki’.

National warranty that you can rely on

Have you ever enlisted the services of an automotive mechanic, only to have a problem with the repair and not receive any response? There’s no need to worry about that with Lube Mobile. The work of our technicians is confidently backed by a nationwide warranty of twelve months or 20,000 kilometres.

In the event of a problem with a repair or service, our team will dispatch a technician as soon as possible. The warranty covers all parts and fluids supplied, installed, or serviced by Lube Mobile technicians, as well as all labour.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is included in a safety inspection during a car service?

Getting regular safety inspections is a great way to save yourself time, energy, and money. And there is nothing more important than your safety, particularly that of your family.

If you’re looking up ‘car service Launceston’, you know that cars, at various stages of their lives, will require minor or major maintenance depending on model and make, how they are driven, and the recommendations of their mechanics.

Safety inspections cover all aspects of your car that contribute to its safe operation. To ensure your safety and that of your fellow drivers, a mechanic will check your tyres, lights, brakes, suspension components, windscreen, seat belts, emergency brake, horn, turn signals and lights, exhaust system, and steering, among other things.

Do you provide a checklist after a car service?

One of the reasons it can be hard to secure a car service Launceston locals trust is due to unexpected addon services and fees. It is even possible for mechanics to escort you out of a workshop so that you are unaware of the exact work being performed on your car. After all that, you’re left with a bill that’s higher than you expected.

Prior to starting any work, Lube Mobile’s expert mechanics will provide you with a detailed itemised quotation. In this way, you can keep control over what services are performed and how much you’ll be spending.

What is a logbook service, and do I need it?

A logbook service is a comprehensive service that follows the guidelines set out by the vehicle’s manufacturer in the vehicle’s logbook. The logbook, which comes with every new car, details the service requirements recommended by the manufacturer at specific intervals.

For many new cars, having a regular logbook service is a requirement to keep the manufacturer’s warranty valid. If you skip these services or have them done by someone who isn’t qualified, you risk voiding your warranty. Here at Lube Mobile, if your car is still covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, we can stamp and sign the logbook to keep it valid.
