Lube Mobile Hygiene Practices When Servicing Customers Vehicles

There is evidence that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads from person to person, some reports suggest the virus can last for several days on surfaces including plastics found in vehicles.

Good hygiene can prevent infection from coronavirus as well as the common cold and flu.

With this in mind we wish to share with you what practices Lube Mobile have put in place to ensure the safety of our Customers and of our staff.

Prior to working inside a vehicle, the Lube Mobile technician will use the following procedure;

  1. The technician will check with you whether you have been overseas and ordered to comply with a self-isolation order.

  2. Disinfect car.

  3. Disinfect hands.

  4. Where possible avoid switching on HAVAC system (air conditioning / heater control).

Disinfect Car

  1. Disinfect outside door handle prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. Spray or wipe all relevant areas inside the vehicle.

  3. Allow disinfectant to sit for up to 10mins to dry by airing out the vehicle.

  4. Conduct works inside the vehicle.

  5. When the work is finished we will give the vehicle a final spray or wipe prior to returning the vehicle to you (including outside door handle).

Parts of the Vehicle to be Disinfected

  1. Door handle (outside first then inside).

  2. Steering wheel.

  3. Radio and other control buttons and indicators.

  4. Seat belt.

  5. Any other areas we may need to touch when working inside the vehicle (i.e. glove box handles, drink holders, dashboard, hand brake and gears etc.)

Disinfect Hands

  1. We will use hand sanitiser or washing of hands prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. After completing the work we will Sanitise our hands thoroughly and close the door to the vehicle.

Payment and Invoicing

  1. No Cash payments. Our strong preference is payment by card via the tap and go facility.

  2. Printing of invoices and quotes will cease and we will instead email them to you.

Should you have any queries regarding our Coronavirus (Covid-19) procedures, or any other matter please do not hesitate in contacting us on 13 30 32.

Mechanic Near Me

Finding a ‘mechanic near me’ can be a challenge. You’ll need to locate someone that is close enough that you can get to without too many problems, and then there is the challenge of not having a car. Dropping a car off at a mechanic and then getting to work can be an added expense and at times you may need to miss work or leave your car overnight in an unfamiliar location.

Rather than finding a ‘mechanic near me’ a better solution can be finding a mechanic that will come to you. Then it doesn't matter how far away they are. With Lube Mobile, the mobile mechanic specialists, we can come to you and can perform a service and repairs on your car. This can save you time and worry, you can choose where the service happens, it can be at your home or work. We operate across Australia in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, as well as many other locations. We can perform most car repairs on your location, and we have workshops available to take care of any larger issues, such as transmission replacement, or engine disassembly and refurbishment.

At Lube Mobile, we are capable of performing services on a variety of vehicles. Our mechanics have the skills to perform any logbook service and are operating six days of the week. We are open on Saturdays as well and we work to match the needs of our customers. Rather than stick to a standard set of hours, we can work around your schedule. This gives you more freedom, and as a bonus, you’ll never need to catch a lift or pay for a taxi to collect your car when it’s finished.

How do I find a good mobile ‘mechanic near me’?

One of the best ways to find a ‘mechanic near me’ is to ask other people. Find out their experience, and how they found the mechanics. At Lube Mobile we have been in business for over 30 years, this is a clear indicator that we are doing something right. We are a household name and experts in our field.

We can perform car service on a variety of vehicles. Our expert mechanics are experienced in working with standard and 4x4 vehicles. We use quality parts to make sure the job is completed to the highest standards. We have worked on many different types of cars and do not specialise, we can meet all the service standards of newer cars, such as Audi, BMW and Subaru. We also service all older vehicles including early models of Toyota, Ford, and Holden. We are yet to come across a model of car that we are not able to perform an auto service on.

How much do mobile ‘mechanics near me’ charge per hour?

When looking for a ‘mechanic near me’, price is usually a big concern, as in most cases you may think that you’ll pay more for the convenience. But this is often not the truth, as a mobile mechanic, we save money by not having to pay for standard bricks and mortar location. While there are a few extra costs associated by being mobile, these are usually counteracted by reduced costs in other areas.

Generally, our charges are by the work being completed and they’re not associated with an hourly rate. For example, a mobile service will cost that same regardless if it takes an hour to complete or an hour and a half. We follow standard mechanic rates and these are calculated on how long a job should take to complete rather than how long it takes. The only exception to this maybe if there are extras asked for that were not included at the time of your booking, but the mobile mechanic will inform you of these charges before starting any work on your vehicle.

How do I get a ‘mechanic near me’ to come to my house?

In most cases what might be known as a ‘mechanic near me’, operates out of a building and you’ll need to take your car to them. While there may be some exceptions to this, if your car is not functioning and can’t be driven then you’ll need to arrange another method to get your car there. A tow for your vehicle can be quite expensive, as you’ll need to pay for a call out fee and the distance the car is towed. While it may be possible to get a friend to help you if you don't have a lot of experience towing vehicles you could end up doing more damage.

A better solution when looking for a ‘mechanic near me’, is to hire one of Lube Mobil’s mobile mechanics who can come to your home. We are trained to perform all sorts of car repair and auto service at the convenience of your time and location. We cover everything from tyre replacement to muffler repair. You won’t need to take your car anywhere.

For the specialists in mobile mechanics to perform quality services on your car, you can book us online, or call on 13 30 32. We’ll come to your home or work, or wherever your vehicle is and get the work completed, it’s that easy! At Lube Mobile, all our services are top rated, and we stand by the work we do.
